Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare culinary items for our guests across pantry, fry stations, and dining areas. You will follow recipes, maintain quality and sanitation, and ensure timely preparation aligned with production requirements.

You will support daily operations, manage per-shift odds and ensure proper storage of perishables while upholding safety standards and guest satisfaction through attractive presentation.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required; culinary certificate or degree preferred.
• 3–6 months in a food/beverage services environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of operating industrial sized ovens and cooking ranges.
• Knowledge of preparing different cuisines, relishes, soups and salads.
• Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling; safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes, records, and standards.
• Start prepped items ahead of time and manage portions to meet needs.
• Assist in maintaining buffet and station setup; rotate perishables per SOP.
• Check pars, determine prep, and monitor stock; note shortages and replace items as needed.
• Return unused food to storage and cover/date perishables.
• Help control food cost, waste, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
