Job summary

Shamin Hotels is seeking a Cook 1 to join our Food & Beverage team. You will prepare appetizers, entrées, and desserts according to recipes, while maintaining cleanliness and station organization.

Ideal candidates have line or prep cook experience, strong knowledge of cooking techniques, and a commitment to food safety. Evening/weekend availability is needed in a fast-paced hotel kitchen.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred.
• Basic culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Culinary degree or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow standardized recipes to prepare a variety of dishes.
• Measure ingredients and monitor temperatures and cooking times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
• Inspect food for freshness and quality; adjust seasonings as needed.
• Assist in training new cooks and support team collaboration.
