Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in a hotel, restaurant, banquet kitchen, or similar setting preferred.
• Working knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and safe food handling.
• Ability to follow recipes, manage multiple orders, and maintain quality during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
• Complete daily prep work and keep station stocked, organized, and ready for service.
• Coordinate with culinary and service teams to deliver accurate orders promptly.
• Support restaurant, banquet, and other food service operations as assigned.
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storage, labeling, temperature control, and sanitation.
• Monitor product freshness, rotate inventory, and help minimize food waste.
• Safely operate and clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Communicate shortages, equipment concerns, and dietary requests to leadership.
• Follow hotel policies and maintain a professional, team-oriented approach.
