B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group is seeking an evening-shift cook for our hotel portfolio.

This role supports high-quality food production for restaurant, room service, and events, while adhering to Holiday Inn brand standards. Candidates must be able to work weekends and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of cook/kitchen experience, a culinary background, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• College and/or culinary degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of progressive cook or kitchen experience required.
• Must be detail oriented and able to communicate with all levels.
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical Requirements: lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Food quality and production: ensure highest quality and adherence to standards; conduct line checks and audits; develop SOPs to maximize quality.
• Presentation and menu changes: ensure outstanding presentation using use records and photos; stay updated on menu changes.
• Cost control: follow procurement guidelines and manage food costs while maximizing revenue.
• Guest service: ensure guest satisfaction and respond to concerns promptly; collaborate with kitchen staff to meet ticket times.
• Safety and risk management: uphold food safety standards and storage; ensure a clean, safe work environment and follow procedures.
• Self/workload management: manage time effectively, communicate clearly, and adhere to SOPs.
