Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare food with consistent quality, following recipes and standards. You will support kitchen operations, manage timely prep, and ensure proper storage of perishables in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in hotel kitchens is preferred; expect to handle equipment and maintain hygiene, while collaborating with staff to deliver guest satisfaction and smooth service.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Dexterity to operate food machinery.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 100 lbs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and standards.
• Start items prepared ahead of time to avoid over-prepping.
• Rotate and store perishables properly per HEI standards.
• Check pars and assist in keeping buffet stocked.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
