The Historic Cavalier Hotel and Beach Club, Autograph Collection in Virginia Beach is seeking a Baker for the Becca Restaurant & Garden. You will prepare food to consistent quality, follow recipes, and assist in daily kitchen operations.

Responsibilities include starting prep, rotating perishables, checking pars, maintaining buffet stock, and operating kitchen equipment. Strong communication and reliability are essential in a fast-paced hotel kitchen.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Finger/hand dexterity to operate kitchen equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and handle food prep tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Start prep ahead of service and manage portions.
• Date and rotate perishables; rotate as per standards.
• Check pars for shift use and assist with buffet stock.
• Operate, maintain and clean kitchen equipment and tools.
