Qualifications

• Hotel kitchen experience is preferred.
• Must have a Food Handler hygiene certificate.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 1 year pastry operation experience.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• French pastry production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and portion standards for all dishes.
• Prepare food and assist in kitchen functions as directed.
• Rotate perishables and maintain proper temperatures.
• Check par levels and assist in keeping buffets stocked.
• Store unused items properly with date labeling.
• Help control food costs and reduce waste.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment safely.
• Attend scheduled shifts and perform other duties as assigned.
