Job summary

Peabody Hotels Memphis is seeking an IT professional to provide technical support for hotel computer systems and software applications, including problem determination, troubleshooting, and coordination with the IT team. This role reports to the Director of IT and supports Systems Operator duties as needed.

The position requires a High School Diploma, fluent English, and at least two years of networking experience; familiarity with Oracle Opera PMS and large-scale deployments is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• 2 years computer networking experience.
• Certification of previous training in computers.
• Experience with major software applications.
• Previous guest relations training.
• Be familiar with Oracle's Opera PMS.
• Familiar with implementing large scale application solutions to an entire workforce.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
• Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; report shortages to supervisor.
• Anticipate associates’ needs and respond promptly.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
• Install upgrades and updates to network software.
• Execute all regularly scheduled operations jobs.
