Job summary

Peabody is seeking an experienced Banquet Food Server to support banquet events in Memphis. You will greet guests, take beverage orders, and ensure timely, courteous service across function rooms and service areas.

The role requires TIPS training within 60 days, 18+ age, and English fluency. You will work with a team to maintain high standards, manage guest needs, and uphold Peabody Service Excellence®. This is an on-site, on-call banquet server position with room for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 to serve alcoholic beverages.
• TIPS Training within 60 days of employment.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to perform duties with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
• Must work well in a team and maintain guest confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, assist with seating and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Take and serve beverage orders, using suggestive selling when appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of service procedures, standards and menus.
• Set up and reset banquet spaces according to function requirements.
• Ensure compliance with state liquor regulations and safety standards.
