Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Honolulu seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to administer and coordinate housekeeping functions within assigned sections, including inspection of staff performance and VIP rooms.

The role oversees daily floor closures, assignment records, key control, and Lost and Found procedures while ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to standards. Experience in supervision and hotel operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework helpful.
• 2–3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
• Previous supervisory responsibility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Facilities Attendant’s work performance daily to ensure standards and productivity.
• Inspect VIP rooms and report availability to Front Office per hotel standards.
• Oversee closing of floors and restock housekeeping carts.
• Maintain records of daily assignments and submit to Housekeeping Office on time.
• Maintain key control and manage Lost and Found items.
