Great Lakes Hospitality Group is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to supervise Room Attendants and inspect hotel guestrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and lobbies. The role involves assigning tasks, training staff, and ensuring cleanliness and safety compliance across facilities.

Experience is not required, and candidates should be capable of addressing guest concerns, maintaining inventory, and coordinating with other departments to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Familiar with safety data sheet regulations when using chemicals.
• Able to lift, carry, or pull heavy objects.
• Able to understand simple instructions.
• Able to learn simple procedures and techniques.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks.
• Able to plan the work of others.

Responsibilities

• Assign work to Room Attendants and train personnel in housekeeping duties; may perform cleaning duties.
• Post room occupancy records.
• Address guests' complaints regarding housekeeping service or equipment.
• Write requisitions for supplies and renovations.
• Inspect carpets, drapes and furniture for stains or wear.
• Monitor linens and supplies; help control costs.
• Record inspection results and notify staff of issues.
• Coordinate with other departments on problems.
