Job summary

Paragon HR Holdings Corp. is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to perform final room inspections and assist in maintaining high cleanliness standards across guestrooms, corridors, and public areas.

The role requires 1-2 years of hotel housekeeping experience, knowledge of cleaning chemicals, and strong communication skills. You will help monitor staff performance, conduct inventory, and ensure safety and brand compliance in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in housekeeping in a hotel environment.
• Advanced knowledge of cleaning chemicals and housekeeping best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail with high levels of successful communication.
• Ability to work at a fast pace while under pressure.
• Ability to encourage co-workers to perform their best work in a positive and respectful manner.
• Ability to multi-task and remain flexible in a stressful environment.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours/days, including weekends and holidays.
• Self-directed and able to work independently.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the daily cleaning of assigned rooms, corridors, storage areas, and public areas to ensure housekeeping assignments are completed to the highest standard.
• Ensures bed linens are changed, towels are replaced, and bathrooms are cleaned; conducts vacuuming, mopping, and dusting as needed.
• Assists in cleaning areas that did not pass inspections.
• Maintains brand and company standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness.
• Assists management in grading housekeeping staff performance per standards.
• Monitors upkeep of vacant rooms and proper stock preparation.
• Logs and stores lost-and-found items securely daily.
• Reports safety hazards or unsafe practices to management.
• conducts monthly inventory of supplies and helps control costs.
• Demonstrates teamwork and communicates professionally with guests and staff.
