Job summary

LOTTE New York Palace is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support the Housekeeping Manager in directing daily operations of the Housekeeping Department for a 191-room luxury hotel.

You will lead a team of about 30 associates, oversee scheduling, training, and inspections across guest rooms, public areas, and linen operations, and ensure compliance with the CBA while maintaining the highest guest service and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years progressive housekeeping leadership experience in an upper‑ upscale hotel.
• Experience working within a CBA environment preferred.
• Bilingual ability is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Housekeeping Manager in planning, directing, and overseeing operations.
• Supervise daily activities and ensure standards meet hotel requirements.
• Prepare staffing plans and schedules based on occupancy and demand.
• Lead daily shift meetings and communicate priorities and service expectations.
• Support union relations and perform in the manager's absence.
