Job summary

Extell Hospitality Services is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead daily housekeeping operations at the Kimpton Era property in New York City. You will supervise room attendants and public areas, uphold brand standards, and ensure guest rooms meet exacting cleanliness expectations.

Collaborate with Front Office and Engineering, train staff, manage shifts, and monitor sanitation protocols. This role requires 2–4 years in a supervisory housekeeping position, with a track record in a high-volume

Qualifications

• Proven experience of 2-4 years of previous experience in housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a full-service hotel or large hospitality environment.
• Proven experience in a high-volume, fast-paced urban market, preferably New York City.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the daily housekeeping tasks, including room attendants and public areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and safety standards.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Engineering to ensure smooth guest experiences and timely maintenance.
• Assist Room Attendants and Public Area Attendants as needed to support operations and workflow.
• Lead training and onboarding of housekeeping staff and provide ongoing coaching.
