Job summary

Hilton Milwaukee, a property operated in partnership with Marcus Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead and develop the housekeeping team, uphold cleanliness standards, and drive efficient operations in a busy downtown Milwaukee hotel.

The role focuses on staffing, training, quality control, cost management, and ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and service.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping leadership preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet deadlines.
• Ability to exercise judgment and control performance of others.
• Ability to provide clear direction to associates.
• Ability to communicate effectively to associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist in hiring, training, supervising, coaching and counseling the Housekeeping staff.
• Establish standards of cleanliness for all Housekeeping areas.
• Plan direction and long-term goals for the Housekeeping Department with the Director of Rooms.
• Control and analyze departmental costs to ensure performance against budget.
• Ensure that all designated guestrooms receive service.
• Inspect guestrooms, public and back-of-house areas for compliance with standards.
• Cover temporary staff shortages as needed.
• Promote safety and security in assigned areas.
• Foster excellent guest/associate rapport by responding promptly and courteously to requests.
