Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to assist the Director of Housekeeping in daily operations, ensuring cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction. You will train staff, schedule assignments, monitor performance, and help manage safety, costs and equipment, while representing the property with professionalism and care for guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Ensures cleanliness standards are met by all associates throughout the department.
• Assists with daily housekeeping operations and acts as manager on duty as applicable.
• Monitors performance and adherence to policies; informs Director of Housekeeping of issues; assists with performance management.
• Assists with scheduling room assignments to ensure proper coverage.
• Ensures staff are trained and have tools/equipment needed for duties.
• Assists with administrative responsibilities and completes written reports.
• Assists with scheduling of staff.
• Inspects staff work to ensure standards are met.
• Assists with Lost and Found, including packing/mailing packages.
• Helps control expenses and minimize waste in housekeeping.
• Promotes safety and security in assigned areas.
• Performs manual duties of subordinates to cover shortages.
• Ensures furniture, facilities, and equipment are maintained and in good repair.
• Promotes excellent guest/associate rapport by responding promptly and courteously.
• Maintains appropriate standards of conduct, hygiene, uniforms, and appearance.
• Represents the hotel with professionalism and decorum.
• Makes recommendations to improve methods and procedures for guest/associate satisfaction.
• Attends all required Housekeeping and other meetings.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
