Job summary

The Courtyard & Residence Inn by Marriott Raleigh/Brier Creek is hiring an experienced Housekeeping Manager. You will lead housekeeping and laundry operations, schedule staff, and maintain high cleanliness standards while controlling costs. Weekday and weekend availability is required to meet hotel needs and guest expectations.

This role demands strong leadership, clear communication, and a commitment to safety. Experience with hotel housekeeping and bilingual skills are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of related work experience.
• Direct and motivate staff to clean rooms efficiently and cost-effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Prepare work assignments; recommend service improvements.
• Monitor equipment, facilities and materials usage.
• Flexible hours to accommodate scheduling changes.
• Strong interpersonal and detail-oriented supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping and laundry operations to maintain hotel cleanliness.
• Schedule staff according to forecasted occupancy and adjust for changes.
• Coordinate room readiness with Guest Care Manager/General Manager.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements.
• Ensure safety rules are followed and training is up to date.
• Prepare reports to support management decisions.
