Job summary

The Courtyard & Residence Inn by Marriott, located in the Brier Creek/RDU area of Raleigh, is hiring for full-time Housekeeping Attendants. The hours are 9am-5pm, and weekday and weekend availability is required.

Primary duties include cleaning guest rooms to brand standards, replacing linens, reporting maintenance, and keeping supply areas organized. One year of housekeeping experience is preferred and flexibility with scheduling is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 1 year of housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, techniques and safe chemical handling.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to meet brand standards and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Ensures customer satisfaction by cleaning customer rooms according to SREE and brand standards.
• Removes soiled bed and bath linens and replaces with clean linens, as required.
• Removes accumulated trash and debris from room as required.
• Cleans bathroom area, dusts all surfaces, replenishes room amenities, cleans floors and vacuums rooms as required.
• Reports unusual circumstances to Hotel Management.
• Reports maintenance requests and replacement orders.
• Maximizes job efficiency by ensuring the supply cart is neat, stocked and orderly.
• Ensures quality and quantity of the contents of the linen closet by organizing and cleaning it and notifies housekeeping manager or supervisor immediately if any stock shortages exist.
