Job summary

The Surrey, A Corinthia Hotel on the Upper East Side seeks a Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping department and support the Director of Housekeeping in delivering exceptional service within budget.

The role oversees laundry, linen, public areas, and rooms teams, ensuring the highest cleanliness standards and efficient guest service. Strong supervisory skills and Opera PMS experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ housekeeping management experience required.
• Supervisory experience in a hotel environment preferred.
• Experience with Opera PMS and housekeeping systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support communication to the team and management of service standards and budget targets.
• Assist in maintaining high housekeeping standards for guest areas and back-of-house.
• Ensure daily tasks are completed accurately and guest requests are managed promptly.
• Lead by example to maintain smooth operation across departments.
• Collaborate with DHO to develop a progressive housekeeping team environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and service standards in all areas of responsibility.
• Coach and monitor daily to ensure adherence to standards.
