Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is seeking a Houseman to ensure the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms, public spaces, and event areas. You will contribute to guest satisfaction by performing cleaning tasks, restocking supplies, and staying safety-conscious.

Ideal candidates have hospitality awareness, strong communication, and the ability to work a dynamic schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency with Word, Outlook and Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, ensuring high cleanliness and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas and event spaces.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain organized housekeeping carts and supply closets.
• Report safety hazards or concerns to supervisor.
• Follow cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel preferred.
