Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts’ Aloft Tampa Downtown is seeking an experienced housekeeping leader to oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional cleanliness across guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas.

You will plan staffing, develop budgets, train staff, and drive labor efficiency while partnering with other departments to maintain high guest satisfaction and safety standards. This is a collaborative role with growth opportunities within a national hotel company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience, with at least 3 years in housekeeping management.
• Experience managing in-house operated laundry operations.
• Thorough knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations.
• Ability to lead with strong organizational skills and a team-player attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and monitor staff workload to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Develop housekeeping and laundry budgets and control expenses.
• Schedule labor to align with hotel occupancy, events, and activity.
• Hire, train, evaluate performance, and provide guidance to staff.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety programs.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and rehab projects.
