Summary

The Hotel Housekeeper/Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms to provide a pleasant and comfortable experience. They ensure rooms are inviting and address guest inquiries politely and knowledgeably.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms for cleaning
• Make beds
• Dust rooms and furniture
• Replenish supplies
• Clean bathrooms and closets
• Vacuum carpets
• Secure rooms
• Deliver and retrieve guest items
• Maintain public areas
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Work independently and in teams
• Manage guest requests and complaints
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Secondary school diploma preferred
• Hotel-related experience desired
• Experience with cleaning equipment a plus
• Professional attitude required
