Overview:

The Room Attendant services guest rooms, ensuring a comprehensive cleaning process that adheres to all Brand and CDC guidelines for cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

1. Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms on a daily schedule.
2. Remove trash and dirty linen from guest rooms, hallways, and public spaces.
3. Maintain cleanliness of hallways, public areas, and closets, including vacuuming.
4. Restock cleaning supplies such as bleach, mops, wipes, and brooms on the cart.
5. Replenish chemical bottles as needed.
6. Ensure guest rooms, public spaces, and touchpoints meet cleanliness standards.
7. Report maintenance issues immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
8. Clean and sanitize according to CDC and brand standards.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and 20 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.
• Ability to stand throughout the entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with all levels of staff and guests in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
