Job summary

Cherokee Nation Entertainment is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to ensure the cleanliness and comfort of our hotel for every guest. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, replacing linens, restocking supplies, and maintaining public areas.

The role requires physical effort, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working weekends/holidays. You will respond promptly to guest inquiries and coordinate with the team to uphold high standards of service.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2 years housekeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, their proper usage and safe storage.
• Knowledge of biohazards and use of PPE.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive relationships with guests and other departments.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize assigned hotel rooms, including changing linens and cleaning bathrooms.
• Prepare and organize housekeeping carts with supplies, including guest amenities, cleaning products, and linens.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of hallways, public areas, and closets.
• Respond to guest questions and requests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Report damages, missing items, lost and found items, or maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Ensure all employee access doors are kept closed at all times for security.
