Job summary

RRI West manages Red Roof Plus Columbus OSU and is seeking dependable hotel housekeepers to ensure clean, comfortable guest rooms. The role is full-time with a $500 sign-on bonus, digital tipping, and benefits after eligibility.

Typical schedule runs 8:30am–4pm, with weekend and holiday availability required. Starting pay is $16–$18 per hour, based on experience, and includes a benefits package such as health, dental, vision, life and pet insurance, 401(k) with employer match, PTO after 60 days,

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping or guest services preferred but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned guest rooms and public areas according to standards.
• Change bed linens and make beds.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Dust, vacuum, restock supplies, ensure room is guest ready.
• Respond to guest requests courteously.
• Report maintenance issues and lost-and-found items.
• Maintain professional appearance and follow dress standards.
• Coordinate with front desk to prepare rooms on time.

Red Roof Plus Columbus OSU is looking for dependable, detail-oriented housekeepers to join our team. This is a full-time position for someone who takes pride in creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms.

Location: Red Roof Plus + Columbus OSU
Property Address: 441 Ackerman Road
Typical Schedule: 8:30am to 4pm Depending on number of rooms to clean
Weekend and holiday availability are required.

$500 Sign-On Bonus

The sign-on bonus is paid in three installments:

• $100 after 30 days of employment
• $150 after 90 days of employment
• $250 after six months of employment

Sign-on bonus payments are subject to the company’s eligibility and employment requirements.

What You Will Do

• As a housekeeper, you will help make sure our guests have a clean, safe, and comfortable stay. Your responsibilities will include:
• Cleaning assigned guest rooms and designated public areas according to company and brand standards.
• Changing bed linens and making beds
• Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Dusting, vacuuming, and restocking room supplies
• Making sure every assigned room is clean and guest ready.
• Responding to housekeeping‑related guest requests in a friendly and professional manner
• Reporting maintenance concerns, room issues, damages, and lost‑and‑found items promptly.
• Maintaining a professional appearance, following company dress, and grooming standards
• Working with the front desk and housekeeping team to prepare rooms on time

Bilingual English and Spanish skills are helpful but not required.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
