Job summary

Hyatt Place Orlando Airport is seeking a Hotel Host to deliver welcoming, high-quality guest service across the hotel’s outlets, including the Host Stand, Placery Café, Guest Kitchen, e-room and meeting rooms. The role involves guest interactions, check-in/out, and assisting with meeting room service.

The position requires strong English communication, AM/PM shift flexibility, multitasking, and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Shuttle duties may require a DOT exam; CDL is not needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required in a hotel or related field.
• Must have schedule flexibility for AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Requires strong command of the English language to include speaking, reading and writing.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast paced position with guest interaction.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs).
• Must possess basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Must be able to pass a DOT exam certification.
• Must be able to drive a full size van (CDL not needed).

Responsibilities

• Provide guest service at the Hotel Host Stand and throughout outlets.
• Drive the airport shuttle as part of host responsibilities; DOT exam may be required.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment for guests.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and servicing of meeting rooms.

The Hotel Host creates an experience for our hotel guests by offering them a larger than home experience with welcoming, helpful and exceptional service, while maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting environment. This position is responsible for the complete guest experience; to include the Hotel Host Stand, the Placery Café, the Guest Kitchen, the e-room and the TV den, guest check in and out and the servicing of the meeting rooms. Previous guest service experience as well as the ability to communicate well with guests required.

Driving the airport shuttle will also be part of the host responsibilities, and a DOT exam will be required(CDL not necessary).
