Town Pump Company is seeking a motivated Hotel Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping and laundry teams, ensuring rooms and public areas meet brand standards and guest expectations. The role emphasizes safety, training, and adherence to grooming guidelines while coordinating daily schedules and inventory.

The position involves supervising staff, maintaining inventory, and delivering high-quality service in a hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Supervise all housekeeping and laundry team members, including hiring, training, performance management, conflict resolution, discipline, and termination as required.
• Practice and reinforce safe working conditions under OSHA guidelines, including Bloodborne Pathogens.
• Knowledge of general housekeeping and recordkeeping; ability to comprehend oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties to ensure guest rooms and common areas are cleaned within time frames per guest type.
• Assign daily work for the housekeeping and laundry department, complete inspections, and provide feedback to team members.
• Complete required training and certifications, prepare housekeeping cart, and follow grooming and uniform guidelines.
• Use and update room assignment clipboard, keys, and ensure master keys are secure at all times.
• Manage linen and supply inventory, generate supply requisitions, and maintain lost and found items.
• May perform duties such as folding laundry, cleaning lobby, breakfast service, and other public areas as needed.

As a Hotel Head Housekeeper, You Will

• perform duties to ensure guest rooms and common areas are cleaned, ensure the best possible experience for each guest, to Town Pump and brand operational standards within specified time frames per guest type.
• supervise all housekeeping and laundry team members. This includes, but is not limited to participating in the hiring, training, performance management, conflict resolution, discipline, and termination of team members as required.
• practice and reinforce with team members safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines to include Bloodborne Pathogens.
• assign daily work for the housekeeping and laundry department, distribute assignments accordingly, complete inspections of rooms, public areas, storerooms, and laundry, provide regular feedback to team members about their assigned work, and complete weekly schedule based on forecasted hotel occupancy.
• complete all required company and brand-specific training and/or certifications in a timely manner, prepare housekeeping cart upon arrival and at shift closing daily, always follow Town Pump’s grooming and appearance guidelines, and wear uniform and name tag while on shift.
• use and update the room assignment clipboard, sign-out, and sign-in master room keys daily. Ensure master keys are always secure (attached to self) and never loaned to anyone or taken off the property.
• manage linen and supply inventory, generate supply requisitions, maintain and be responsible for the lost and found items.
• maintain a strong work ethic, display a high degree of pride and integrity in job performance, comply with Town Pump expectations for confidentiality of guest and company information, communicate in a courteous, professional manner with teammates, management, and guests.
• need knowledge of general housekeeping and recordkeeping, ability to comprehend oral and written instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• may be required to perform duties such as folding laundry, cleaning the lobby, assisting with breakfast service, cleaning public areas, guest rooms etc.
