Renaissance New York Flushing Hotel at Tangram is seeking an Ambassador (Guest Service Agent) to warmly welcome guests and manage front desk tasks. You will assist with check-ins and check-outs, balance transactions, and respond to guest requests with professionalism.

The role requires strong customer service, cash handling, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hotel environment. Fluency in English is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Customer service and cash handling experience required.
• Must have schedule flexibility for AM/PM/Overnight shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in English; Chinese Mandarin a plus.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, guest-interaction role.
• Desire to satisfy guests in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet).
• Sense of humor and self-confidence required.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes; verify registration, address and credit information; balance bank; post charges.
• Provide information for guest inquiries and coordinate special services; inform guests of hotel features and amenities.
• Answer hotel telephones courteously following Renaissance standards.
• Follow Marriott policies on cash handling, safety, and security.
