Renaissance New York Flushing Hotel at Tangram is seeking an attentive Bellman to welcome guests, assist with luggage, and provide accurate information about hotel services and nearby attractions. Qualifications

Customer service experience required.
Must have schedule flexibility for AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays.
Proficiency in English (speaking, reading and writing); Mandarin/Spanish a plus.
Must be able to multi-task.
Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced guest-facing role.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs; up to 75 lbs with assistance.
Driver's license and reliable transportation.
Familiarity with Flushing/Queens streets and highways is a plus.
Sense of humor and self-confidence.

Responsibilities

Greet and escort guests to rooms.
Open doors and assist guests entering and leaving the property.
Inform guests of amenities, services, hours and local areas of interest.
Transport luggage and assist with luggage storage.
Arrange transportation and record requests as needed.
Respond to guest requests and special arrangements.
Communicate parking procedures to guests.
Follow safety policies; maintain uniform and professional appearance.
Move, lift, and place objects weighing up to 50 lbs; assist with heavier items.
Answer guest calls, messages, and questions; provide information about the property and area.
