Job summary

SPIRE Hospitality is seeking a Groundskeeper in New York, NY. The role requires a valid driver’s license and entails maintaining hotel grounds, pools, property, parking areas, and related facilities to high standards.

You will perform litter cleanup, assist with equipment movement, snow removal, and daily maintenance tasks. A high school diploma is required; trade certification is a plus. Wage: $22.00 per hour. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Trade school or technician certification is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required for on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Performs litter and debris cleanup around all facilities and disposes of refuse items.
• Prioritize daily grounds tasks as directed by supervisor/manager.
• Snow removal, salting, and maintenance of safe conditions in parking areas and walkways.
• Loads and unloads trucks and other conveyances to move supplies and materials.
• Assists with safely moving heavy machinery and equipment as needed.
• Completes daily work order log documenting inspections, maintenance, and hours worked.
