Job summary

The Industrialist in downtown Pittsburgh is seeking a General Manager to oversee all hotel operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will lead department heads, drive revenue strategies, ensure brand standards, and foster a culture of service excellence with strong financial performance.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of hotel management experience, a hospitality or business degree, and proven ability to manage budgets, P&L, and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent experience in hotel management will be considered.
• Brand hotel experience (Hilton, Marriott, IHG, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales, Engineering, and F&B.
• Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and their teams.
• Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction through consistent service standards.
• Drive revenue and occupancy strategies with sales and revenue management.
• Manage financial performance including budgeting and forecasting.
• Maintain brand standards, safety, and internal policies.
• Review reports to identify trends and opportunities.
