Job summary

InnVentures is seeking a General Manager for the DoubleTree Tigard, OR, to lead hotel operations and drive guest satisfaction while delivering strong financial performance for owners.

You will mentor the hotel team, uphold shared values, and champion personalized service to create memorable experiences for guests and communities. This role requires strategic leadership and hands-on management in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Progressive hotel or related field experience required
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to mentor staff and manage operations effectively

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, support, coach and mentor department managers and teams.
• Champion great service and empower staff to take care of guests.
• Cultivate guest relationships to drive loyalty and satisfaction.
• Resolve guest and employee issues with effective problem solving.
• Monitor daily tasks to ensure SOPs are followed.
• Assist with benefits, payroll and HR tasks including recognition events.
• Support sales efforts and contribute to revenue growth.
• Communicate and enforce emergency procedures when needed.
• Conduct property inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Plan staff meetings and daily huddles for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management to maximize revenues and market share.
• Prepare financial reports for management and owners.
