Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Hotel General Manager experience in a Select Service or Extended Stay hotel.
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities.
• Experience managing hotel financials, budgets, labor costs, and performance.
• Knowledge of scheduling, inventory management, purchasing, and payroll.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of hotel operations to maximize guest satisfaction, associate engagement, and financial performance.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing hotel team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, franchise standards, and operating procedures.
• Manage labor, expenses, and operating budgets while maintaining profitability.
• Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to improve results.
• Foster a culture of outstanding guest service and promptly resolve guest concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and property appearance standards.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll, inventory, and daily financial reporting.
• Build relationships within the local community and participate in sales and marketing initiatives.
• Partner with Area Director to develop budgets, business plans, and operational strategies.
• Ensure administrative tasks, audits, banking, and reporting are completed accurately.
• Be available to respond to operational needs as required.
• All other duties as assigned.
