Job summary

Au Hospitality is seeking a General Manager in Auburn, AL to lead hotel operations and deliver outstanding guest experiences. This hands-on leader will drive revenue, manage profitability, and cultivate a high-performance team in a competitive market.

The GM will ensure brand standards, engage with the local community, and maintain strong relationships with guests and associates while steering operations toward sustainable practices and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior Hotel General Manager experience.
• Background in Food & Beverage, Restaurant Management, and/or Bar Sales.
• Experience with hotel management software and POS systems (Marriott systems strongly preferred).
• High-energy leadership style with a strong commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and inspire the hotel team while fostering a service-minded culture aligned with hotel values.
• Oversee all hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences and brand compliance.
• Drive revenue growth, market share performance, and overall financial results.
• Effectively manage labor, operating expenses, and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with franchise quality assurance standards and guest inspection requirements.
• Champion internal and external communications, documentation, and recordkeeping.
• Build brand awareness and represent the hotel within the local community.
• Enhance guest satisfaction and associate engagement and retention.
