Job summary

Hyatt Place Denver Airport is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead Avion Hospitality's operation at the Denver airport property. You will oversee financial performance, guest satisfaction, and associate engagement while delivering the Hyatt brand experience.

You will recruit and develop a strong hotel leadership team, drive revenue opportunities, manage expenses, and maintain brand standards. This hands-on leader will be visible across the hotel, building a positive culture and strong

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of progressive hotel leadership experience.
• General Manager or senior hotel leadership experience preferred.
• Hyatt or select-service hotel experience preferred.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and expense control.
• Strong understanding of sales, revenue management, guest satisfaction, and operations.
• Proven ability to recruit, develop, motivate, and hold teams accountable.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with hotel technology and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible leadership across the hotel and set performance expectations.
• Build a positive, team-oriented culture aligned with Avion Hospitality values.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a strong hotel leadership team.
• Develop department leaders through coaching, training, and succession planning.
• Own the hotel's financial performance, budgets, and operational metrics.
• Partner with sales and revenue management to maximize market share.
