Hotel Weyanoke is seeking a General Manager to lead a renovated historic hotel in Farmville, VA. You will oversee rooms, Tap Root Tavern dining, Catbird Rooftop Bar, catering, events, and group stays, with a team pride-driven culture.

You'll manage all hotel operations, drive profitability, and develop annual and long-range plans while delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining compliance with laws and standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience across key hotel operations areas (rooms, F&B, sales, marketing, maintenance)
• Proven track record building strong teams
• Ability to read income statements and balance sheets
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Tech-savvy with common productivity and hospitality software

Responsabilités

• Own the hotel's full P&L and revenue streams including rooms, F&B, and events
• Drive profitability, cash flow, and revenue growth
• Lead department heads; oversee hiring, training, and development
• Develop annual and long-range business plans and execute marketing programs
• Coordinate with Controller on cash flow, inventories, and month-end close
• Ensure guest satisfaction with warm, professional service and safety compliance
• Represent the hotel to community, clients, vendors, and staff
• Lead regular department meetings and weekly updates with corporate team
