Hotel Hive in Washington, DC, part of Modus by PM Hotel Group, seeks an experienced General Manager. You’ll oversee front office, housekeeping, engineering, and the licensed pizza operation, directing strategy, budgeting, and daily leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires 5+ years in hotel management with a proven leadership track record, strong financial acumen, and a passion for hospitality. On-site, exempt, with a salary range of $130,000–$150,000.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a hotel with a strong F&B component.
• Minimum of 5 years in various management roles in hospitality, with a senior leadership position for at least 2 years.
• Strong financial background and administrative skills are required.
• Track record of achieving superior results across hotel operations and guest experience.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire teams and drive development and learning.

Responsibilities

• Own all hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, engineering, and F&B (pizza shop).
• Lead through the leadership team to maximize financial performance while maintaining guest satisfaction and staff engagement.
• Develop and execute annual strategic, budget, and operations plans for balanced growth and profitability.
• Communicate direction clearly to ensure ownership and desired results across teams.
• Aim for superior balanced scorecard results (revenue, guest experience, engagement, asset maintenance).
• Foster a guest-focused, results-oriented environment and promote development plans for direct reports.
• Collaborate with shared services (marketing, revenue management, people & culture) to maximize performance.
