Job summary

City Express by Marriott is seeking a General Manager to lead daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and staff performance. The role requires strong financial oversight, brand compliance, and strategic oversight to maximize profitability.

You will drive RevPAR, manage annual budgets, and collaborate with Revenue Management and Sales to optimize pricing and market share. The property is set to open ahead of 2027 and offers Marriott Bonvoy participation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive hospitality leadership (GM or Asst GM preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience.
• Strong financial acumen with P&L and forecasting capabilities.
• Local ServSafe/Food Handler and CPR/First Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations across Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance and F&B.
• Ensure adherence to City Express by Marriott brand standards and guest service benchmarks.
• Walk the property daily to inspect cleanliness and guest appeal.
• Lead emergency preparedness and OSHA/local regulation compliance.
