Job summary

Myer Hospitality in Branson, Missouri is seeking a Hotel Front Desk Receptionist to join our guest services team. You will welcome guests, manage account information, and ensure a smooth, exceptional stay for every visitor, with a friendly, professional presence at the desk.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills.
• 1+ year hotel industry experience preferred.
• Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls.
• Answer inquiries about guests’ needs, room availability, amenities, and rewards programs.
• Communicate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready.
• Welcome, register, check-in, and check out guests, provide keys and room numbers, and record payment information.
• General bookkeeping: maintain accurate guest account information.
• Handle customer complaints when necessary.

Compensation:

Responsibilities:

• Manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls, and answer inquiries about guests’ needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs
• Communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready
• Welcome, register, check-in, and check out guests staying at the hotel, provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card information
• General bookkeeping: ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date
• Field customer complaints when necessary

Qualifications:

• Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
