Job summary

Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel in Baltimore is seeking a night auditor to join our hospitality team. The role focuses on nightly financial audits, reporting, and frontline guest service to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

You will prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports, verify and reconcile financial records, and assist with reservations and check-ins as needed. A high school diploma is required, some college preferred, and experience with reservation or accounting software

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to general manager, department heads, and hotel management.
• Verify, audit, and reconcile all financial records such as room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, final bill preparation, and occupancy percentages.
• Execute front desk duties as required, including processing reservations and check-ins, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving guest complaints.

• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to general manager, department heads, and hotel management
• Ensure all guests feel they are having an exceptional experience at the property
• Verify, audit, and reconcile all financial records such as room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, final bill preparation, room charges, and occupancy percentages
• Complete additional bookkeeping, administrative, and accounting procedures as requested
• Execute front desk clerk duties as required, such as processing reservations and check-ins, delegating housekeeping, security, and service requests, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving guest complaints as needed
• Computer proficiency is required; experience with accounting or reservation software is preferred
• Requires a flexible schedule that allows for overnight shift hours
• Some college is preferred but a high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Experience in the hospitality industry or guest services is preferred, but not required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required

Compensation

$18.32 - $20.24 hourly
