We’re looking for a positive and professional hotel front desk agent to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest at our hotel. You’ll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute their keys and room assignments, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us. Responsibilities: • Answer incoming calls and questions about guests’ needs in-person and online regarding room bookings, room rates, amenities, available rooms, rewards programs, and special requests • Perform regular bookkeeping duties: make sure hotel guest information is current and correct • Handle customer complaints as necessary • Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide correct keys and room numbers • Work with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests • Be able to work on your feet for a typical shift for 8 hours at a time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Qualifications: • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems • 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred • Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations • Displays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational skills, and customer service skills • Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent • Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours during a typical shift • Please only apply if you meet each of these criteria Compensation: $13 - $14 hourly
