Job Summary

Responsible for the successful overall activities related to the Front Desk of the Hotel, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Represents the hotel to guests and visitors throughout their stay. Assists with reservations, guest registration, payment verification, room assignment, and accommodating special requests. Coordinates with other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met, maintains room status updates, and manages guest room security.

Supports sales and reservations for the hotel, restaurants, events, and casino operations by presenting options and assisting guests. Knows the hotel's room types, status, and available services, including dining and casino activities.

Performs cashiering duties such as billing, refunds, cash handling, and issuing change.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including six-day work weeks, under stress with patience and tolerance.
  • Knowledge of the local community and ability to communicate this to guests.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, calculators, and POS systems.
  • Ability to work directly with guests and staff, providing assistance and information.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills, good judgment, and creativity.
  • Ability to pass background checks and maintain a Class III gaming license.
  • Compliance with gaming regulations, safety codes, and company policies.
Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Previous hotel experience preferred but not mandatory; experience in customer service roles acceptable.
  • Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Basic math skills.
Work Schedule

The hotel operates 24/7. Schedules may vary due to business needs and staff requests.

Salary: $17.50 per hour
