Job summary

Albert Hotel in Fredericksburg, TX, is seeking a Restaurant Food Runner to support our dining outlets in a busy hospitality setting. Opened in 2025, the property combines luxury textures with Hill Country charm and hosts weddings and events at its expansive venues.

You will assist servers, maintain allergen awareness, and ensure guests have correct dishware while supporting front-of-house teamwork. This role requires a high school diploma and state food handling certification where applicable,

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
6 months hospitality experience preferred.
State-issued food handling certification may be required.

Responsibilities

Maintain product knowledge to communicate ingredients and allergens clearly to guests.
Set up tables with linens, silverware and glassware for service.
Serve food and beverages to guests and assist with specialty dishes as needed.
Verify dishware and utensils are correct when delivering courses.
Maintain clear communication between front and back of house staff.
Remove dishes from tables and transport to the kitchen for cleaning.
Clean tables and counters after guests finish dining.
Stock dining supplies (plates, utensils, glassware, linens) as needed.
Respond promptly to guest comments and escalate with supervisor when necessary.
