The role manages Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Night Audit, and Payroll, ensures policy compliance, and collaborates with department heads to prepare budgets and analyze financial performance.

Experience in hotel accounting and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in hotel accounting functions
• Strong business communication skills verbal and written
• Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
• High work ethic and self-initiative
• Ability to maintain calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Night Audit, and Payroll
• Ensure proper controls to maximize profits and minimize losses
• Ensure policies are in place and followed; report deviations
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports
• Coordinate budget preparation with department heads
• Provide analysis and support to management
• Interview, hire, train, and evaluate personnel
• Participate in monthly/weekly meetings
• Complete payroll and related reporting accurately and distribute payroll checks
