Job summary

Savara Hospitality Inc. is seeking a dependable maintenance professional to ensure safety, comfort, and functionality of our hotel facilities.

You will support daily operations by performing routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and responsive service in a guest-focused environment. Responsibilities include repairs across guest rooms and public spaces, promptly addressing requests, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair techniques.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and customer service skills in a guest-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules and standards.
• Inspect equipment, systems, and facilities to identify needed repairs or potential safety concerns.
• Assist with room setup, furnishings, fixtures, and minor renovation or improvement projects.
• Support emergency response procedures and address urgent maintenance issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and equipment conditions.
• Follow property safety procedures and ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and secure.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to support smooth hotel operations.
