Job summary

Coury Hospitality is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to respond to service calls under the Director of Engineering. You will perform repairs and routine maintenance for hotel facilities, guest rooms, and public spaces while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include prioritizing urgent requests, inspecting equipment, and coordinating with hotel departments. The role requires physical stamina, independent work, and the ability to operate a range of maintenance tools on-site.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate basic maintenance tools and equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety and health requirements.
• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings.
• Physically capable of demanding outdoor labor.
• Ability to work without supervision and maintain good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance service calls and perform repairs in guest rooms and common areas.
• Perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting and general upkeep tasks.
• Prioritize work orders to minimize guest disruption.
• Inspect machinery and equipment for safety and operation.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed for maintenance.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment and supplies.
• Provide timely support to hotel operations and departments.
• Order and manage materials required for projects.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Follow safety procedures for handling chemicals and hazardous materials.
