Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts seeks an on-site maintenance technician for Kimpton Fort Lauderdale Beach. You will perform preventative maintenance, repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems to ensure guest comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include utility servicing, energy‑efficient improvements, and timely work orders, while upholding SOPs and safety standards in a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Vocational schooling or certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry.
• Hotel or hospitality maintenance experience preferred.
• Good communication and ability to guide maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs to maintain hotel systems.
• Check electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and perform routine repairs.
• Service hotel pool, maintain exterior areas, and refurbish guest-room fixtures.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and company SOPs.
