Job summary

Kingsmill Resort is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the Maintenance & Engineering team, directing supervisors and staff, planning daily work, and driving capital projects.

This role emphasizes budget management, safety compliance, and coordinating with operations to ensure reliable facilities and guest safety.

The candidate will bring strong leadership, multi-trade knowledge, and hands-on ability to guide repairs and preventive maintenance across resort properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; trade experience preferred.
• 5+ years in commercial maintenance or facilities management.
• Experience with budgeting and capital projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of life safety and environmental regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied environments.
• Hotel or resort maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff and supervisors in M&E department.
• Plans and schedules property work and capital projects.
• Inspects work and provides on-the-job assistance to staff.
• Completes performance reviews and disciplines as required.
• Manages department budget and related operations.
• Ensures life safety systems and regulatory compliance.
• Oversees access control and camera surveillance systems.
• Ensures timely responses to maintenance calls and repairs.
