Northwood Hospitality LLC is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure smooth operation of hotel facilities, performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to keep guest areas safe and comfortable.

The role requires hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, with strong mechanical and technical skills, the ability to work independently and with a team, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays in a hospitality environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade certifications or licenses (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel maintenance or related field.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Mansioni

• Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and HVAC system maintenance.
• Implement a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize breakdowns and equipment failures.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and other mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot issues with building systems and identify potential problems before they escalate.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including OSHA standards.
