Job summary

World Equestrian Center in Ocala, FL seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance and landscaping operations for the hotel and outlets. You will supervise daily activities, manage vendor relationships, and ensure efficient, safe operations in compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities include overseeing HVAC, BAS systems, preventative maintenance, energy initiatives, and budget management, with oversight of maintenance staff and MOD participation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; associate/technical diploma preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property operations including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping.
• Manage BAS and implement corrective actions.
• Lead preventive maintenance program.
• Develop energy conservation initiatives to lower costs.
• Hire, schedule, and evaluate maintenance staff.
• Develop budget and manage vendor bidding.
• Participate in MOD program and departmental administration.
• Maintain detailed operational records for audits.
• Ensure safety compliance and regular inspections.
